Newsletter February/ March 2026

Hello

A belated Happy New Year. I've been busy working on a commission plus a couple of other new pieces. I will be getting more involved with the Drawn to the Valley Art Group this year, hopefully doing my bit to showcase art from Devon and Cornwall artists. I am also expanding my Folksy shop. As a result I'm offering subscribers a 15% discount when they visit. More details below.

Abbeyfield

I was very pleased to be one of several local artists who donated paintings to Abbeyfield's Drake Lodge Resedential Home in Tavistock. In return, I was featured in this article in the local newspaper, the Tavistock Times and Gazette. I hope my acrylic painting of Tinside Lido, Plymouth will help brighten the decor.

Drawn to the Valley

I'm very pleased to have been elected to the committe of Drawn to the Valley, an artists' collective that exists to promote and showcase the work of artists in west Devon and east Cornwall. I will be involved in organising the spring and summer exhibitions, more details to follow.

I am a Plymouth based artist. I love to create original paintings of the places and landscapes i love, mostly in Devon and Cornwall, but also beyond. I'm particularly interested in the faded beauty of everyday things that surround us and that many of us take for granted.
