Tiny Art With A Big Heart

I have recently got back in to painting ACEOs again (Art Trading Card Editions and Originals). These highly collectable little artworks are always made to a standard size: 6.4 cm x 8.9 cm (2.5" x 3.5"). They are hand painted and can be produced in any medium. They are a great way of collecting affordable original paintings. They can be framed in a traditional way, or kept in albums. My full range of ACEOs can be found in my Folksy shop here

Latest Work

A recent original painting of Totnes, in watercolour and ink.

Drawn to the Valley Spring Exhibition
Plymouth.

Artemis Birthday Exhibition

I'm having a birthday this month... so is the Artemis Collective, a fabulous group who have been supporting Plymouth artists for two years now, They are laying on a celebratory exhibition at Manor Street Galleries from 1st - 18th May. I'm pleased to have a couple of paintings featured!

Etsy Shop

I'm often asked at fairs and markets if I sell on Etsy. Technically I do, though the shop has been inactive for a while. So I have made the decision to start restocking my Etsy shop aand it's already paying off with sales. Check it out here

Folksy Shop - Discount Available

My full range is in my Folksy shop and subscribers can get a 15% discount by entering code Art2026 at checkout.

Chris Stone Artist

I am a Plymouth based artist. I love to create original paintings of the places and landscapes i love, mostly in Devon and Cornwall, but also beyond. I'm particularly interested in the faded beauty of everyday things that surround us and that many of us take for granted.

Chris Stone Artist Newsletter April 2026 Spring Has Sprung! As spring dawns, there are many changes afoot. My "day job" running community art workshops is coming to an end as the community interest company I work for will be pulling out of the market. I'm opting to draw some pension and use the time to grow my little art business. As a result, I will have more time for art and makers markets and exhibitions, as well as offering commissions. More on all that below. My lovely subscribers...
