Exhibition Season

Hello

I hope you are all well and thank you for continuing to subscribe. My main news this month is that, with the summer well under way, I'm looking forward to exhibiting some of my work in the local area:

Drawn to the Valley:
Summer Exhibition 16th -19th July 2025
Tavistock

I'm thrilled to have been welcomed into the fold at Drawn to the Valley, a well established and dynamic artists' collective operating along the Devon/ Cornwall border. It's a wonderfully diverse artistic platform for established and emerging artists alike.

I will be exhibiting a selection of work at their summer exhibition this year, 16th -19th July 2025 at the Butchers Hall, Tavistock, Devon. 9.30 am - 4.30 pm daily, free entry.

The exhibition is running alongside this year's Tavistock Carnival, hopefully ensuring a healthy footfall throughout. If you're in the area, why not drop in? I'm hoping to be there in person on Thursday 17th July.

Brownston Gallery, Modbury
4th - 18th October

I have just had word that my exhibition at the prestigious Brownston Gallery in Devon has been scheduled for 4th to 18th October. I'm hoping to have more details on that in the next news letter.

Online Shops

Although some work is now reserved for the exhibitions, my online shops at British Craft House and Folksy still carry a selection of originals, cards and prints. My British Craft House shop is enabled to offer a discount to newsletter subscribers. Please enter Mail2025 in the discount code box at checkout.

Latest Work

My most recent original paintings.

That's all for this month.
I'll be back later in the summer with more news on the Brownston Exhibition.
Don't spend too long in the sun!
Kind regards
Chris

I am a Plymouth based artist. I love to create original paintings of the places and landscapes i love, mostly in Devon and Cornwall, but also beyond. I'm particularly interested in the faded beauty of everyday things that surround us and that many of us take for granted.
